Plants
make their food through a process called photosynthesis. In this process they
use sunlight, water, minerals and carbon dioxide. Leaves are the plant’s
kitchen, but only green leaves which have a pigment called chlorophyll can
prepare their food. First plants produce glucose which can convert into starch
and stored into parts of plant. Starch is a type of carbohydrate. During photosynthesis
plants take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. Palnts do respiration also,
during respiration plants take in oxygen and give out carbon dioxide.
